It’s also never really the case that we work for people of the present, but rather the expanding families and communities of the future.
By working in collaboration with project Arch. Ivo Trumpy the initial 7 “rusticos” in the village of Germanionico situated at 1500 m.a.s.l. were restored back to their original state. Under the supervision of Ballenberg Swiss Open-air museum and the Swiss Federation these buildings dating back to the late 16th and early 17th century have been rebuilt using the same building techniques of the period.
