Olivone | Ticino | Switzerland
By retaining the existing floor print of the old property, a barn from the 1850`s has been converted into a modern home. By inserting a solid wood structure into the surrounding stone walls the building “grows” from stone into wood. It is then capped off with a traditional stone roof. A solid granite fireplace built as a vertical column over 2 floors is the only heating to the building.
